Wheaton Eagles Pathfinders Club
.
The Pathfinder Club is a coed group similar to Boy/Girl Scout clubs. It is a worldwide organization sponsored as a community service by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. There are 29,160 clubs operating in 130 countries with a worldwide membership of over 1 million Pathfinders.

The Wheaton Eagles Pathfinder Club of the Wheaton Seventh-day Adventist Church holds club meetings for youth aged 10-18 years every second Sabbath of the month from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and the second Sunday of every month from 10a.m. to 12p.m. during the school year. During club meetings, Pathfinders engage in community service activities, earn honors in hobbies, crafts, and community service, develop drilling and marching skills, hiking and camping trips, and complete class work for each of the seven class levels of membership. Each class level has a set curriculum to help train Pathfinders in a variety of educational, spiritual, and physical areas.

Our club is planning to attend the Chosen International Camporee, August 12-17, 2019, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event for most Pathfinders because it takes place every 5 years. They will meet other Pathfinders from all over the world, participate in various community activities, while learning vocational and leadership skills. The most economical way to travel to Camporee is by bus so we need to raise a total of $10,000 by June 1, 2019.
